Otis Hamilton

He started his journey in Life Insurance Sales in 2010 and became 2nd runner up for his company’s prestigious rookie of the year award in his first full year. As an agent, he would regularly qualify for company awards such as Century Club and High-Flyer in addition to the internationally recognized, M.D.R.T.

 

Prior to Insurance, Otis O. Hamilton would have spent his first twelve years working in the fields of Government and Private Accounting, as well as Marketing & Promotion before moving into Commodity and Commercial Sales.

 

He Joined his local Insurance association (JAIFA’s) Executive in 2011 as treasurer until 2018 when he was elected as second vice president and moved up to first vice president and President in 2021.

 

Otis O. Hamilton joined the practice of Insurance sales management when he spent one year in the brokerage community where he developed and managed the number one Unit and lead the company to winning the Sagicor Brokerage of the year. On his return to Sagicor in 2018 he rebuilt a unit known today as the Vikings Unit. They have ended each year in the top 5 of the unit trophy category and has surpassed ass required Key Performance Indicators which has led him to qualify for all company conventions since.

 

Community involvement has always been a major platform of his life, which lead him to be elected to the Kingston and St Andrew municipality as the Councillor for the Red Hills Division during the years 2012 to 2016. He is currently the chairman of a Kindergarten school board, while spearheading activities of the project he has developed called “Back to Basics” aimed at improving facilities and mentorship at underprivileged community basic schools.

 

He is a chronic entrepreneur who has owned over fifteen business in his lifetime and currently owns and manages a small restaurant and livestock farm.

 

Otis O Hamilton is a seasoned professional Master of Ceremonies, A Sales Coach and Radio Host.

 

A father of two beautiful daughters, Jada-Marie 15 years old and Jordyn-Nae 2 years old, and on his free time he plays basketball and loves to socialize.
