CARAIFA has come a long way since we came into being as CALU 30 odd years ago. It is my intention to build on the foundation laid by the hard work done by all who have served our Association over those years.
My motto is: "Building strength through Unity, Co-operation and Fellowship"
The old cliché says there is strength in unity. We in the Caribbean can no longer be divided by water but we must be linked by water. For too long we have been divided and ruled. We must now unite and conquer. CARAIFA will demonstrate to the region that by breaking down those barriers that have controlled and restricted us over the years we can do this successfully.
Through co-operation we can learn from each other, we can build on each other’s strengths and accomplish more. It is through co-operation we will develop a strong team of territories, working towards common goals and objectives in the insurance and financial services industry.
Nowhere in the world do they fellowship like the people of the Caribbean. It is through fellowship that we understand each other and our diverse cultures yet work together with a common purpose while building lifetime relationships.
I ask that our members to join me on this journey and let us demonstrate to the world that Caribbean people in the financial services industry can come together in unity and with co –operation and fellowship, bringing strength to each other both individually and collectively.
I will work with you to ensure that CARAIFA is a strong and vibrant Association that would be the envy of all other Associations like ours. I want to encourage all members to get involved as we strive together to achieve this goal of:
